Vineyard
Perseveranza’s vineyards are idyllic tucked away in the picturesque hilly landscape near the authentic Roman village Petritoli, Marche Italy. Enclosed by the Sibillini Mountains in the west and the Adriatic Sea in the east, it provides a perfectly balanced natural developed climate for cultivation of grapes and olives with a magnificent strong aroma and taste.

Taste
A light purple surprise with a predominant taste of oaked cherry and plum, richly flavoured with tones of roasted tomato, orange zest, chocolate, oregano, thyme and a whiff of vanilla.
When aged, tones of leather, spice and tobacco will repress its vibrant acidity. This curiously balanced earthy, rustic and savoury oaked wine made out of handpicked Sangiovese grapes, scream Italy!

Rosso Piceno Sangiovese

Vino Rosso

“Like a smoothly applied brushstroke for a new colourful fresco on a virgin chalky wall; so playful, mild-bodied, colour & flavourful and mineral-rich does the oaked palate of this beautiful Rosso Picena wine smell and taste, made from full-juice-ripened 100% hand-picked Sangiovese grapes.” Michelangelo

How to
combine with food

This oaked Sangiovese is an absolutely perfect wine to drink with any Italian food, like pizza and pasta, tomato-based sauces, lamb, veal, meaty stews with fresh strong herbs. But to drink a glass with a creamy mushroom risotto, is a magnificent match made in heaven!
