Vinyard
Perseveranza’s vineyards are idyllic tucked away in the picturesque hilly landscape near the authentic Roman village Petritoli, Marche Italy.
Enclosed by the Sibillini Mountains in the west and the Adriatic Sea in the east, it provides a perfectly balanced natural developed climate for cultivation of grapes and olives with a magnificent strong aroma and taste.
Taste
A deep inky carmen blast, this rich ripe black fruit, chocolate, licorice perfumed stiff tannin blend of hand-pickedMontepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes provides structure and Montepulciano grapes softens the taste with a fruity lift of plum, cassis & cherry flavours. Decanting this oak barrel matured wine enrich the aroma’s like green pepper, oregano, leather, coffee, mineral & vegetal, toped by a cent of vanilla.
Food
This wine is perfect to drink with grilled & roasted spiced meat, pasta bolognese, mac & cheese, chilli buttered saignant entrecôte, artichoke, wine soaked kidneys, aged cheeses and Shepard’spie. The aftertaste makes herbs like oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage & coriander, orchestrated in the dishes, play a euphoric symphony.
